Obituary of WANEETA KOHLI

KOHLI, WANEETA BERNICE KOHLI, Waneeta Bernice of Port Dover passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, June 10, 2011 in her 76th year. Cherished wife of Don. Loving mother of Douglas of Guelph, Richard of Port Dover, Mark of Calgary and Marcia of Port Dover. Much loved grandmother of Daryl, Tyler, Liam and Amber. Dear sister and sister-in-law of William and Yvonne Garness of Harriston, Sally and Douglas Monroe of Port Dover and Robert Hart of Cambridge. Will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Tessie Garness and her sister Carol Hart. Waneeta loved reading and she very much loved her gardens, sharing that love with all who knew her. She spent many hours knitting and donated her hats and mitts to the schools and to the nursing home. In keeping with Waneeta's wishes, cremation has taken place, a graveside service will be held on Saturday June 18, 2011 at 11 am at the Port Dover Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 158, Port Dover from 1 pm to 5 pm.
