Obituary of FREDERICK ILIFFE

ILIFFE, FREDERICK WALTER ILIFFE, Frederick Walter of Port Dover, passed away after a battle with cancer, at Norfolk General Hospital, on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in his 73th year. Cherished husband of Irene Smith. Loving father and father-in-law of Donald and Debbie Iliffe of Stoney Plain, Alberta, Penny and Fred Long, Charlene and Mike O'Keefe, Debbie Smith and Dave Bates. Proud grandfather of Mark (Jennifer), Chad (Holly), Jonathan, Matthew, Shelby, Tara, Justine and Lindsay, great grandfather of Jeremiah, Brianne, Angela, and Daniel, Pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Beatrice Iliffe. Fred was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 158 for over 30 years. He will be sadly missed, and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date. For those wishing, donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
