Obituary of DORA BUTLER

BUTLER, DORA ETHEL BUTLER, Dora Ethel (nee Robinson) passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Norview Lodge, surrounded by the love of her family, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Douglas (1978). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Steven and Debbie of Port Dover and Lynne and Stephen Thurman of Fort McMurray. Cherished grandmother of seven, great grandmother of seven and great great grandmother of one. Dear sister of Bertha Rainville of British Columbia. Predeceased by her daughter Gail Smith (2002), brothers, Jack and Lloyd and sisters Ruby Rugman and Alma Jobbitt. Dora was a devoted mother not only to her own, but to many that needed someone in their life. She was a long time member of Grace United Church. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 2 pm at Grace United Church, Port Dover. The Reverend Murray Rounding officiating. Interment Port Dover Cemetery.
