Obituary of ANNETTE McKNIGHT

McKNIGHT, ANNETTE (NETTIE IRENE) McKNIGHT, Annette (Nettie Irene), of Port Dover passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, Saturday September 1, 2012 in her 95th year. Dearly loved sister of Jean St. Louis of Port Dover. Much loved aunt of Mark, Joseph, William, Barbara, Linda, Patricia and Kelli. Predeceased by her parents Aaron and Doris McKnight, brothers Bruce, John and Ross, sister Norma Saunders, and brothers-in-law Ike St. Louis and Delbert Saunders. Annette spent a 26 year career as an Officer at various levels in the former Federal Department of Employment and Immigration. She travelled extensively in Europe, Africa and the United Kingdom. She was an accomplished painter, dressmaker and a long time member of Grace United Church. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service to commemorate Annette's life will be held Saturday September 8, 2012 at 11am. at Port Dover Cemetery. The Reverend Murray Rounding officiating.
