McINTYRE, GLORIA
McINTYRE, Gloria Myrtle (nee Goold), of Port Dover, passed away in her 82nd year on September 11, 2012, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Pearl, her husband Alex , her brother Ray, and her sisters Edna and Blanche. She is survived by her son Paul, granddaughters Andrea and Caron, sisters Nancy and Eileen, brother John and many nieces and nephews. Gloria retired from Crane Canada in Brantford in 1991 and moved to Port Dover to spend quality time with her granddaughters. She was very proud of their academic achievements. Gloria enjoyed going for long walks and when she was younger, she liked to go on bus trips with her good friend, Evelyn Felker. She took pleasure in baking muffins for her friends and family and enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays on television. Gloria was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Her wishes were to be cremated without any service. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.
