My mom Shirley Bates and myself just heard the sad news of Robin's passing. We were out of town and had no idea Robin had been sick. So sorry for your loss! Had not seen Robin in many years but have some great memories from when we were kids! Our mom's were friends as were Robin and I........ May she rest in Peace.....

Memories from one of Robin's Saskatchewan cousins... My first meeting of Robin was when her family came to Saskatchewan to holiday & she celebrated her 2nd birthday. She was "the light of the party" even then. We got to know her much better when she came to live with her Uncle Bob & Auntie Mildred at the farm as a teenager. I was honored to be invited to her wedding to Craig & gladly made the trip to Port Dover. Our next meeting was when my husband Neal, myself & our boys Devin & Cory visited Port Dover when Rebecca was a toddler. Somehow the family connection remained the same even with all the passage of time... That connection still lives on in our hearts. Peace be with you Robin! Our love to you all...Ann

I met Robin many years ago when she was working at McDonald's. She was always a "goer" and nothing got in her way. Our friendship carried over to the ladies Port Dover golf league at the old Nanticoke golf course. We had many great days but I am not sure golf was a priority! Our foresome was always known for our great snacks on the course. I also learned a few new words from Robin! Those days I will always remember and will miss them.

I was very shocked to hear the news about Robin. I had only known her for a short few months through catering and she is definitely not someone who will be forgotten. Robin was welcoming to me from the very beginning. She was cracking jokes and bringing smiles to our faces at work. The Buck family and the Watkinson family go way back. Robin was one of the first people I met when I moved to Port Dover. It was always nice to see her smiling face whether around town or at PDYC. Robin and I had some great years together. I met my husband during those years with Robin. She and I went to Central Butte, SK to her Aunt and Uncle's place for a couple of weeks...well, me for a couple of weeks but Robin was having so much fun she stayed and went to school there for a year. She has two beautiful daughters that she adored. Robin, you will be remembered forever and missed like crazy.
