Obituary of JOYCE MITCHELL

MITCHELL, Joyce. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Mitchell (nee) Ashworth, on February 3rd, 2014, at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe. Joyce resided at Cedarwood Village and was a former resident of Port Dover for over 20 years. Joyce, beloved wife of Clarence, cherished Mother of David (Rosemary) of Guelph, Peter (deceased 1980), and Catherine Longpre (Michael) of Peterborough, and much loved Grandmother of Erin, Matthew, Megan, Cassandra, Nathan and Graham. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Emily, sisters Wyn, Dorothy and Irene , also brothers-in-law Roger Booth and Ernie Hutton. Friends are invited to meet with family on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 7pm -9pm, (evening only) at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover.(519)-583-1530. A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am, at St. Paul's Anglican Church corners of Market and St. George Sts., Port Dover.
