Obituary of Isobel MOSS

MOSS, Isobel Brown MOSS, Isobel Brown (nee McMillan), Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in her 84th year. Isobel is finally at rest. Beloved wife of the late W. George Moss (2009). She was the only child of Isabella Cross Brown and William McCowat McMillan of Glasgow, Scotland. Dearly loved mother of Lynne Sharman,Thunder Bay, Kit Julian (Richard), Simcoe, William Moss (Diane Bussieres), Quebec City and Wendy Moss of Simcoe. Loving grandma to Paul Ayers, Toronto, Jesse Ayers, Vittoria, Zena Sharman, Vancouver, Nicholas Hardy Moss and Alexander Hardy Moss, Quebec City. Isobel arrived in Canada at Pier 21 in Halifax as a 19 year old war bride and resided in Hamilton for most of her life. She was devoted to caring for her family. Isobel was extremely proud of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6 pm to 8 pm (evening only). A Service to Celebrate Isobel's life will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11 am in the funeral home Chapel. Rev. Father Kendall Reimer officiating. Private family interment at Port Dover Cemetery at a later date.
