Dear Bruce and family,
My deepest condolences reaches out to you and your family in the passing of a dear childhood friend. Ruth Ann was often nicknamed 'Tuffy' or 'Bones' in her early years growing up in St. Williams and it was always used as an endearment because she was a tough bony little sole who had that warm sweet smile.
I remember one day at the St. Williams Public School, Tuffy and I was having a girl talk session at recess and I said a not-so-nice word out of my mouth that shocked me and embarrassed me even more at Tuffy's reaction ... 'you swore! I have never heard you swear before!' Well Ruth Ann, I want to let you know after all those years I have never used the 'word' since as I often think of that moment.
You will always be a happy memory in my heart.
God bless you always,
Linda Brzozowski (Woodward)

Hi Bruce and family.
What you said is so correct Bruce, as it’s seven years now since Ailsa passed. Being on your own after such a long partnership takes it’s toll for a while, but with good friends and family you’ll make it OK.
Always available if you need to talk or walk.
Dave.

Dear Bruce and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Ruth Ann was a true friend and was such a pleasure to be with. Our evenings of playing cards and enjoying times together will not be forgotten. We had such nice talks when we walked each day winter or summer. May she rest in peace. Dear Bruce and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Ruth Ann was such a warm and loving person and you only had to talk to her for a moment to realize how fulfilled she was and that her Family meant everything to her. The picture chosen really captures her glow and the pride and love she held for each member of her entire family.
She was loving and kind to so many - she would often cross the road to talk to my Mom while she was walking in Port Dover - and it made Mom's day! I shall always treasure my memories sitting with Ruth Ann and her sister(s) catching up on the children and grandchildren, laughing and recounting a few good farm stories too!
This verse has brought me some comfort and I pray it may bring some to you as well.
"Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us everyday
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved and missed and very dear"

Bruce, Kerry and Rachel and to all the family. My deepest sympathy to you all. I will remember Ruth Ann as the smallest of the 5 Ponting sisters but mighty for sure. I’ll also remember her laugh and her smile and her beauty as a person that came straight from her heart May I share the following phrases that I shared with those who joined with us at the time of my daughter Maggie’s passing
When there are no words
There are only hugs
When there are tears
There is love
I will miss my cousin

Ruth Ann was a wonderful friend and fellow Educational Assistant coworker that shared the dedication, passion and love of special needs children. It was wonderful to have recently shared a lengthy conversation about our families and especially grandchildren...the joys of our lives. God’s chose you to join him far too soon from this life journey and we can only continue to keep the faith and believe that we will join you again one day. Rest In Peace, Ruth Ann.

Condolences to all Ruth Ann's family and friends. So I say good bye to a long time old friend. I'll miss seeing your smiling face and warm greetings. You're going to the most wonderful place before me, however one day in the future, I will be right behind you, walking on that gravel road, where we will see each other as when we were children. With such fond memories.

My sister was such a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend.
She was always so giving and caring. She had a heart of gold and it showed in how much she loved and adored her family. They meant the world to her.
She was a spitfire and it was evident through her ordeal in the hospital. She may have been little but she was mighty and a fighter.
I am blessed to have had her as a sister and will cherish all our wonderful memories.
She will be missed more than you can imagine. A piece of my heart is with her. My heart is broken.
A wise young man said to me there is another angel in heaven. God got a good one. That he did.
God Bless my girl. Rest in Peace.
