Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, while surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in her 81st  year. Beloved wife of Lance (of 53 years), and loving mother to Debbie (David) Reid, Greg (Reagan), Kevin (Sonya). Proud Baba to Petronella, Charlotte, Willem, Alexander and Piper. Mira will be sadly missed by her sister Dorothy, brother Yugo (Marion), two nieces and two nephews. Mira was born in Timmins and raised in Windsor in an active Serbian community. Mira taught and retired from teaching in Norfolk County. She loved gardening, singing in the choir, was of proud Serbian heritage, enjoyed reading and crosswords, spending time with family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren. Mira will be missed. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mira at visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover  519-583-1530 on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10 am to service time. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11 am in the funeral home Chapel, Father Stevo officiating, followed by interment at Port Dover Cemetery.
