I want to offer my deepest condolences to family and friends of Ms. Billie! When I was around the age of twelve or thirteen I cut grass for Ms. Billie. I used to live across the street on Glenwood many years ago. You all are in my prayers!

Mainly remember Billie from my time at St Paul's, especially when I joined the Bible Study when I could. She could discuss scripture excellently. Always enjoyed any chance meetings with her at church functions or in town when I could make it to Port Dover from Guelph.
She is in my prayers and memories.

Billie was a splendid person. I worked with her for many years on behalf of the Prayer Book Society. She was a woman of real integrity, faithful and courageous, she had a great deal of inner strength. God rest her faithful soul.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Billie who is a long distance cousin.
We both share the linage of the Knightley family here in England. I was never fortunate to have met Billie, but was oh so lucky to have been able to correspond with.
Her mails were always a joy to read. The descriptions of life in Port Dover with the comings and goings of people and events opened a window for me into her part of the world.
Our family send their condolences to the Farmer Family at this mournful time and hope that the lord will find a place for Billie at his side.
Amen

Never had the pleasure of meeting Billie but sure heard plenty about her from members of her family that tirelessly cared for her over the past four years. A long and distinguished life, in all of the most meaningful ways – a prime example of why veteran newsman Tom Brokaw referred to hers as “the greatest generation” – she personified that in so many ways. “True grit”, with an iron constitution, a warm heart, and a twinkle in her eye!
To her family and close friends, our condolences; to all those who so diligently cared for her through her infirmities these past years, seeing to it her quality of life was so maximized, her interests always protected, our deep respect and admiration – well done!

An absolute honour to have had the privilege to be part of "Billie's Ladies"!
She was a beautiful soul, whose family was very much a part of her memories that she shared each visit!
I live in London but I was born in Brantford and grew up not far from Hagersville. Going to Port Dover was one of my earliest childhood memories! When Billie and I would read the paper I enjoyed hearing her reminisce of places and times gone by and she never missed a beat! Her recollections of events in both Brantford and Port Dover were always spot on and I always learned something new!
She will be missed ....a wonderful woman!
