So deeply sorry, Harry, Kimberlee, Kathryn and families, for the loss of your devoted Carol. I have fond memories of our times raising our children together, our giggles while busying ourselves with the St. Paul's Women's Club, and during her years at the Port Dover Medical Centre. She was a lovely person.

I extend my hearty condolences to Harry , and David , and all family members upon the passing of Carol at to young of age.
Carol was born in Montreal in August 16, 1951.I remember that day , because Dave and I , along with my dad and Jimmy Johnston went by bus to St. John Que. to spend the day fishing. When we returned home we got the news Carol was born.
She loved Montreal , and spent many a year visiting our family. We had many special occasions like Christmas , New Years ,birthdays , and summer time.
She was like a daughter that my parents never had.My grand parents also loved her dearly. There was always packages being sent to her , like crochet dresses, that my mom liked making.
She loved going on drives with her uncle Bill , and my mom aunt Margery. She could stand up in the back seat of my dad"s car from Trenton to Montreal. She loved french fries , and ice cream and of course Montreal smoke meat.
She loved the playground across from my parents house ,and in winter the out door skating rink.
Playing Monopoly game at the cottage and she was losing , she decided to tip the board over as everything fell to the floor. She loved the cottage at Barry' Bay.
She loved to make fun of my french girl friends way of speaking, especially when I took her and my girlfriend on a day trip to Quebec city in my Volkswagon.
I remember her meeting me at the train station with an umbrella one rainy day.Yes , it was a 20 minute walk one way.
She was loved by Gail ,Elaine and John, who have all passed away just a few years around the same age as Carol.
As my dad would say..Good Bye Kiddo.Love Peter ,Louise

Carol and I go back many, many years even before she was a bridesmaid at my wedding. Though we lost touch as life redirected our respective routes, we reconnected several years ago through social media and then, more recently, through phone conversations and numerous visits while she was cared for at Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford. She faced her final health challenge bravely and honourably. A lifetime together as loving spouses is never enough but I know, Harry, that your love will always continue even though you are parted. May your many wonderful memories of Carol help to give you comfort, solace and strength. My deepest condolences, Giselle

Harry and family I have very fond memories of Carol when we worked together at the medical centre and became friends. Carol was very kind to me and my kids when I was going through a difficult time offering support opening her home to us and always a shoulder to lean on. As time passed on Carol was a great supporter to me in the walk for Alzheimer's. Carol you will be missed. May you shine brightly in the heavens above down on us.
