John and Margaret befriended my husband(Richard Van Dorn) and I in 1974. We were new to Toledo, OH and they were our first friends. Many great memories. John was the only person I ever knew who could be happy fishing in a bucket in his back yard. Rest in peace. Yvonne

I met Mr. Hankforth through his daughter Amy when they lived in Hamilton. Mr. Hankforth was always an outgoing friendly man who welcomed all his kids friends at their home. He was always smiling and joking with everyone. He will be greatly missed by everyone who's lives he touched.
"A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, and through us, they live on.”
My sincere condolences to Amy, Johnny and all the Hankforth family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
