As members of St. Paul's, we've had the extreme pleasure to know Andy & Barb. Andy was a wonderful gentleman that always had a friendly word to share. We're happy to have known him, and we will certainly miss seeing his smiling face at church.
God speed, Andy.

As a new OPP recruit, I met Corporal Andy Madill at the Niagara Falls Detachment in the early 70s. Andy was extremely fair, very competent in his duties, top spit & polish and a lot of fun with his euchre at shift parties! I held him in high regards and proud to have served under his command,
Kindest thoughts to his family,
Bruce

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Gump. His Mother & Dad were like grandparents to my sister Sharon & myself for many years. My brother Ron was good friends with the family as well. Many good parties held on Sydenham Street.
May he rest in peace.

Barb and Family please accept my sincere condolences. Andy and I worked together at Cayuga Detachment in the 70's and 80's. Andy personified the term officer and a gentleman, a man of compassion to those he worked with and the community he served. I cannot recall a day when Andy didn't arrive at work without a smile of his face and a supply of puns at the ready. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Foxy

Andy and I go way back to 1972 when he visited our place on Merrit st in Niagara Falls. I had applied to join the OPP, and he was in charge of conducting an investigation to see if I was a suitable candidate. He left an impression with me being kind and professional, the way that a police officer should present himself. I was posted to Simcoe, and Andy eventually was transferred to Cayuga where we reconnected. Then later on we both were members of the OPPVA where we shared old times. He was a great gentleman and will be missed.
