Sorry for your loss. Worked with John at Eglinton Division. A great guy to be around. Also ran into him on the highway when he worked for the coach company.

My thoughts go out to all of you. John was a great guy. When working together he always made sure everyone around was having a great time. Whether that be passengers or co workers.
Even down to making us all dinner while we were in Florida. He sent us out for groceries and he cooked it up. So many memories, even when entrusted me to take Lee to NYC when he wasn't able.
Sending my deepest condolences to you all.

Dear Lee Anne, Tyler, Domenic, Luigino and Family
On behalf of my family I want to send to you my deepest condolences on the recent loss of your Father, Father-in-law, Papa and Brother. We are very saddened to have learned of his passing. In reading the obituary it is very evident that Gianangelo (as I called him) was a very special person to each of you. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for all of you, but I pray that as you reminisce about all those special moments you shared with him, the pain will be replaced by a smile, a smile as beautiful as his. I feel very fortunate to have been able to share in a great conversation with him just recently. I hear his laughter and remember the stories we shared from the past.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace to the sweetest, most selfless man I ever had the chance of knowing. I'm so happy Johnny had the privilege to meet this gentle giant. When I worked for the same company as John cleaning coach busses, late at night he would stay until I was done my last bus at 430am if Johnny wasn't there to make sure I got in my car safely even though he still had an hour drive home and just spent hours on road coming back from his New York trips. You taught me how to put my big girl pants on and learn how to drive the coach busses, also making notes on buttons not to press hahah .As much as you were a pain in my ass with the cases of Gatorade, water bottles and your filled coolers that needed to be taken off and put on to your next coach bus, I would do it all over again to have your company. When you face timed me last week, you said start packing your bags because once Michelle let's me drive my bus we are going to New york. I know you wanted Johnny and I to join you on a trip to New York to take him to every fire hall and explore the city with you, even if it meant not telling the big boss lady Michelle Lee-Ann Sanger-Cox who happens to be my mom, you were okay with dealing with her sass later. We will go one day and think of you big guy. I'll miss hearing you say drive safe my girl and calling you in the middle of the night when we had a problem at the garage. VBL won't be the same without you and I know my mom appreciated everything you did around there. I promise to drink my Gatorade for you.
Rest easy big guy , give the love of your life Betty Anne lots of those bear hugs up there. We love you ps I will never forget running into you on the en route around 1 in the morning and you have yours burgers and fries and all the burger sauce on your shirt and you asking me if I was hungry and I said no thank you and went to the washroom and you got in line and got me a meal for later . You will be forever remember and missed Johnny boy

Lee and family we are so very sorry for your loss and thinking of you all during this difficult time. Zio John had such a kind heart. It would come across in how he would address me and others. My fondest memory of him is when he would call me doll! I didn’t see Zio often but, when I did,he always made me feel special. Lee and family may you find comfort and peace in the beautiful memories of your loving father. Love your cousin Carolyn, Rob, Nathan, Noah and Jordan
