Dear Family. We are sorry for your loss and will miss spending time with Cecile. Just loved this classy lady and always had fun when we were together. I took this picture at Irene's 90th birthday party 3 years ago and thought you may like to have a copy too. Lean on your friends at this difficult time and we are praying for strength for all of you.
Sincerely,
Doug and Linda Howe

I was so shocked to read of your Mom's/Grandmother's passing. I worked under Cecile at Fernlea Flowers at both locations on Robinson, then on Argyle streets. She taught me the art of floral design, of course no one could design like your Mom, she was truly talented in all aspects of her life. I remember your home on Norfolk Street, it was so beautifully decorated, I remember your Dad used to come in everyday on his lunch to visit with her. We always had such good conversation, and I learned so much from her.
She certainly was a very classy lady, very proud of her family, and well respected by many who knew her. The last I seen her was a couple of years ago at Cedar Crossings when I was there visiting another lady, I was surprised to see her in the elevator, we had a bit of a chat, she said she was happy there.
She certainly will be missed by all that knew her. Thinking of you all at this sad time!

Dear Wendie and Cindy,
My sincere condolences in the passing of your mom. I remember her fondly when we were next door neighbours many years ago, on Kent Street and your family on Stanley Street. Your mom was a beautiful woman both inside and out. I was fortunate to touch base with her over the years and especially during the time she worked at Fernlea Flowers since I worked at CAS in the building directly across the street. We had some good chats!. She updated me about the two of you and your families. She was obviously very proud of all of you. May she RIP. My thoughts are with all of you. Cherish the special memories. Sincerely, Sharon Moore (Witherspoon)

To Cecile family it is with deep sorrow I read of the passing of your mother. I first met your Mom when I returned to Simcoe as a newlywed and worked alongside her for a brief period of time at Fernlea Flowers downtown Simcoe. I remember her as a very gracious talented person. Thoughts are with you at this time.
