Obituary of DOUGLAS HAVILAND

HAVILAND, DOUGLAS JOHN HAVILAND, Douglas John of Port Dover passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in his 55th year. Loving husband and best friend of Marcia (Misner). Dear brother of Paul of China. Much loved son-in-law of Thelma Misner of Port Dover. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Aileen, father-in-law, Charles Misner and brother-in-law, Allan Misner. Doug will be sadly missed by his many friends, but will be remembered by many as an avid baseball player. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Waters Funeral Home, Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 158, Market St. Port Dover on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
