Obituary of Catharine Brown

BROWN, Catharine passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday September 9, 2021 in her 102nd year. Dear sister of Stuart Brown, loving aunt of Rebecca Shapiro (Jamie) of St. Catharines, Jennifer (David) Wright of Toronto, Ann Brown of Toronto and Ian (Allison) Brown of Guelph. Great - aunt to Sarah, Emily, Tucker, Ginny, Connor, Spencer and Harry. She will be fondly remembered by her cousin Marie McMillan. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Muriel Brown and sister-in-law Bridget Brown. Catharine enjoyed reading, loved the Hamilton Tiger Cats and the city of Chicago where she spent most of her working career as a nurse. Catharine had a terrific sense of humour and was never afraid of expressing her thoughts and feelings on everything from politics to social matters. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
