Obituary of Leila Mary Sloat

SLOAT, Leila Mary (nee Fraser). The Sloat family is saddened to announce the passing of Leila on January 6, 2023. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Catherine (Raymond) D'Astous of Brantford, Lorraine (Mike) Fletcher of Port Ryerse, Patricia Radusin of Vittoria and Annette (Wally) Pickard of Port Ryerse and her grandchildren Sybil, Warren, Natasha, Justin, Benjamin, Samantha (Colton), Boone(Paulo), Mitchell ( Shawna) and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Elizabeth.  Predeceased by her husband Glen, brothers Don, Doug, James, sisters Margaret and Carolyne and brother in laws Jim and Phillip. Leila was a proud member of Grace United Church. She also loved Golf, Curling, knitting, playing cards, bowling and horse races. You would often find her spending her time volunteering for various groups. Friends are invited to share their memories of Leila with the family on Monday January 16th, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME. 102 First Ave, Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Celebration of Leila's life will be held following the visitation at 3:00p.m in Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kathryn Vance officiating.
