Indeed, both my mother and I were very impacted when we heard the news. We know how you loved your father and will miss him. He was a terrific man, a great husband to your mother, and my mom’s dear friend Veronica Ronnie. Your dad built such a wonderful home and business that will always remain in our memories, and in the same way, he will be ever-present. Our condolences to the family. Peter was a very generous and hard working Lion. His legacy will live on with the contributions' and Projects he did for the citizens of Port Dover and Port Dover Lions. Mr. Slaman, will always be remembered by many who are grateful for his being a strong community-orientated man, whose efforts made good changes individually and as a Lions member. His warm and friendly personality, together with his quick wit was always enjoyed. Having been in the floral grow industry at Slaman's, we had many a good floral discussion.
