Obituary of John Roland McRobbie

McRobbie ,John Roland (May 7, 1938 - June 15, 2023) in his 86th year, peacefully passed on June 15, 2023 at Stedman Community Hospice surrounded by his loving family.  Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years Norma Madge McRobbie (nee McNally) May 14, 2021.  Loving father of George (Julie), Dana (April), Wendy (Neil), Colin, Janet (John), Norma Jean and John.  Cherished and loved grandfather of 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  Fondly remembered by his best friend Gayle (Brian).  Predeceased by his granddaughter, Terie and his sisters Helen Munn (nee McRobbie) and Nancy Baker (nee McRobbie).  John was a proud veteran of the Canadian Army.  He had many stories to share about his service and his time in Egypt.  John was then employed by OPG Nanticoke for 26 years before retiring to spend his time with family.
Following family's wishes there will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
