Obituary of Delcie MacDonald

MACDONALD, Delinda (Delcie) at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home on Thursday August 3, 2023. Loved mother and mother -in- law of Jane Goodlet, Andrew MacDonald (Judy Murphy), and Cathy Berta (Dave). Much loved Grandma of Sarah Berta (Jeff Hoover), Aaron Berta (Hayley Lapierre), Jesse Goodlet, Cody Goodlet (Michelle), Tye Murphy and Dustin Luttman (Andi-Mae). Nonna to great grandchildren Isaac Berta, Aaliyah Hoover, Atticus and Vivienne Lapierre, Dahlia and Brin Goodlet, Haiden, Irelyn and Carter Murphy and Aza and Voss Luttman. Survived by sisters-in-law Pat Firmi and Eleanor Misner and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Andrew "Gump" MacDonald, parents Angelo and Guiditta Firmi, siblings and in-laws Sally and Ray Finch, Louie and Rose Firmi, Ida and Art Hill, Edith and Ralph Stewart, Ron Firmi and son-in-law Dave Goodlet. Delcie shared her love for her family through her cooking, exploring new recipes that were enjoyed by all at weekly Sunday dinners. She was a talented seamstress willing to make anything that was wanted, and also made many dolls. She liked to have fun and enjoyed many of her outings with her friends. Her face always lit up at the sight of her much-loved grand and great grandchildren. Special thanks to Shon who made sure she had a dog to hug to the end.
