Obituary of Kathleen Ann Gaston

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Kathleen Gaston on August 31, 2023 in her 89th year. Dear mother of Marsha Jarrell (Chris Phillips) of Simcoe, Annette (John) Wilson of Port Dover, Kathy Gaston (Marvin) Feere of Simcoe and Marshall (Christina) Gaston of Port Dover. Mother-in-law of Tom Decker of Simcoe and Mary Gaston of Delhi. Loving grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sister Muriel Atkinson of Pinegrove. Predeceased by her husband Marshall, daughter Sharon Decker, son Kevin, grandson James and many brothers, sisters and their spouses. Kathleen enjoyed crocheting, reading, bird watching but most of all visiting with friends and family. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Kathleen on Tuesday September 5, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Lynn Park Rd., Port Dover, on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at 11am. Father Augustine Ogundele celebrant.
