Obituary of Ilene Ruth Stanley

STANLEY, Ilene Ruth, during the wee hours of September 28, 2023 Ilene peacefully and restfully finished her journey here in this world. Ilene was born in Toronto and was the daughter of Maurice and Ruth (nee Cole) Hutton from Toronto. She was the wife of her beloved late husband Kenneth James Stanley. Ilene is survived by her brother Joe and his wife Fran Hutton, her niece Laura and her husband Nelson Pinto and her nephew Shane and his wife Denice Hutton. She is also survived by her step children; Denise (nee Stanley) and her husband Ted Davis, Kevin and his wife Moreen Stanley.  Her step grandchildren, Erika and her husband Jason Brown, Brian and his wife Marie Davis. Craig and his wife Kate Stanley and Ian and his wife Alyssa Stanley. Also, she had 8 step great grandchildren; Ella, Hannah, and Roy Brown. Chloe and Olivia Davis. James and William Stanley. Jaxson Stanley. She is also survived by her best companion, her black lab Jetta. Ilene will be remembered fondly by her friends and neighbours that resided amongst her in Port Dover on and near Roselawn Court for many decades. A memorial service will be held at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME in Port Dover at a later date. For those wishing, donations can be made in lieu of flowers to a charity of one's choosing.
