Dear Jayn and family. We were saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother. I remember her as such a vibrant, kind and smart woman. She obviously passed all of those traits on to you. She was always so thoughtful in writing my mom notes and sending her cards every year. That meant the world to my mom and all of us. I also know my brother Paul loved and respected Iris a great deal. I’m sorry we can’t make the service today due to the weather. Please know that you and all of your family are in mine and Penny’s prayers.
I know your mom will continue to be with all of you as a mother’s love never ends.

I am very sorry to hear of Iris's passing. She was an incredible lady!
Many years ago, in 1972, when I first began teaching part-time, I taught science in her Grade 6 class. I was very impressed with her. She was a vivacious person, always displaying a gracious, warm smile; an enthusiastic spirit; and a zest for life. She was an exemplary teacher! I thought at the time---you students are very fortunate to have her as a teacher.
She left an indelible impression on me; I'll never forget her!
May the fond memories you have of her bring peace and comfort to your hearts!
