An Ode to my Valentine: Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance…it’s also a time to think about the people who add joy and laughter to our life. In my case, that would be you Our reconnection after 50+ years was a gift from God.. with a hint of Karma on the side. Especially sharing the same Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren whom you loved dearly. Even though you weren’t in good health, that didn’t stop the laughter, the debating about absolutely everything, the hours and hours of talking on the phone everyday, we became very close. Being in Florida didn’t help, but my travel back to celebrate the New Year with you was a blessing for sure…waiting in the dark, on the side of the road, listening to hear church bells at midnight. Jamie, you were my greatest gift…. And my saddest goodbye “See ya later alligator……………..

I remember him doing his models, as I gave him a couple of my old ones that he was going to use for parts, he made awesome models, as well I will remember his stories, Though I wasn't always sure if they were made up or were real, but nonetheless he always made them sound good...sending condolences to the whole family.
