Obituary of Patricia Maureen Poole

POOLE, Patricia Maureen (nee Bicknell) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday May 18, 2024 at Dover Cliffs LTC, in her 83rd year. Loving wife of Ian, dear mother of Heather (Matthew) of Simcoe and Julie of Jarvis. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth, Megan, Ian, Bella, Anthony and Breanna, and great-grandmother of Glenn and Imogen. Sadly, missed by her siblings Doreen, Faith, Anne and Teresa. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Kathleen and daughter Catherine, and siblings Grace, Alf, Ron and Doug. Patricia was involved in stage productions by Simcoe Little Theater, Gilbert and Sullivan Society in Simcoe, Waterford Lantern Tour, Norfolk General Hospital Awards Nights, and once at Lighthouse Theater in Port Dover. She also loved to sing and was a member of various church choirs including the Waterford Town Hall Choir. Patricia worked for a number of years in the lab at Norfolk General Hospital. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am for visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover 519-583-1530, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am in the funeral home Chapel.
