Obituary of Bill Davidson

DAVIDSON, Bill (William) MacDonald
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on August 20, 2024 in his 81st year. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol, with whom he recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. He felt endlessly lucky to have lived his life to the fullest with her. Bill was a very devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He leaves behind his children Todd, Brad, and Jill, grandchildren Megan (Alex), Cole (Stephen), and Katryna, and great grandchildren Callum and Chloe, as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley (the late Nick), Wendy (Bill), and Norm. Bill was predeceased by his other siblings Robert, Dawn, Mary Lee (Bob) and grandson Corey. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many other family members and friends.
Bill lived a very active life with many hobbies. Nothing made him happier than being out on his boat. He enjoyed waterskiing, racquetball, tennis, golf, and of course, a competitive game of Risk with his family. Bill was an avid traveller, having been all over the world, including Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. He had much success in the insurance industry, owning insurance brokerages across Ontario, starting with Northland Insurance Brokers, followed by Davidson DeLaplante Insurance Brokers across Northern Ontario, and Bunnell Hitchon Insurance Brokers in Brantford, Ontario.
We will forever miss your youthful spirit and eagerness to live life to the fullest. It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
