Obituary of Harley Snively

SNIVELY, Harley Lee passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday February 12, 2016 at Norfolk General Hospital. Loving husband of Cindy, dear father of Dee-Anne (Kirk) Lunan of Port Dover and Sheena (Dasher) Ewen of Ancaster. Proud grandfather of Lucky, Bruin and Kiki. Harley will also be remembered by numerous siblings and their families. Predeceased by his parents Les and Eleta. Harley graduated from Fanshawe College with a diploma in business but he was also an artist. He created wonderful works of art out of the most unlikely objects and was an award winning waterfowl carver. Harley enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was a collector of "ugly jugs" amongst other strange and unusual antiques. His imagination knew no bounds; he could find beauty where most would only see junk and turn it into something great. Harley enjoyed many things in his life, his dogs Marley and Scrappy but his true reason for living was being Boppa to his grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held in Harley's memory on Friday February 26, 2016 from 7pm to 11pm at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre.
