Time passes! I remember when Richard started as an apprentice in 1976 at the new Stelco project in Jarvis Ontario. Richard was a great guy to work with and he respected those who helped him develop his skills and work ethics.A very conscientious and safe worker always looking out for "the other guy" and making sure that they were safe . Damn good man and I will never forget him!!

I was sorry to hear of Richard's passing. While I hadn't seen him in many years we'd been corresponding on a regular basis, right up to a few days before he passed. I'll miss that.
I know he missed his wife and loved his daughters.

Deepest condolences to the family and to everyone that knew Richard. This is a significant loss for everyone! Richard was a proud family man, whom he loved dearly. Richard was also proud of his career as an iron worker. For the time that I knew Richard, there is one thing I can say and that is he was a man of values and dedication to those he loved. He will be so dearly missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with Jenelle, Andie-Mae and family.

My sympathies to Ricks' family. I always enjoyed working with Rick at Stelco and later meeting up as contractors.Rick was a very proud person and tradesman. I liked his extreme confidence in everything we took on.

It's hard to believe he's not with us anymore. I have so many great memories as we were work partners for 8 years at Stelco. My favorite now is the time we spent on my deck by our lake in Nova Scotia, sharing our good times and a couple of beers. I'll miss buddy but we'll get together again I'm sure

My sincerest condolences to Andie Mae and Janelle and your families. Rick was a coworker with me and a friend for all the years I known him.
He always had a cheerful disposition and a story to tell every time I see him. We would spend time down at the pier talking about bikes and trips we wanted to take. I'll always remember him is a good friend.
