Obituary of Richard Antoine Camirand

CAMIRAND , Richard Antoine                          December 31, 1952 - August 13, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard on August 13, 2023.  He was a strong and ambitious man who was a great husband, father and grandfather.  Richard has now been reunited with his beloved wife, Ruth (nee Dougherty).  Richard and Ruth raised their two girls, Jenelle (Todd) and Andie-Mae (Dustin) with the importance of never giving up and always doing your best.  He was a loving Pappy to grandbabies, Rush & Beau, Aza & Voss.
Richard had a big heart and was a selfless provider who would do anything for his family.  He was a humble and hardworking man who spent many years on the steel as an iron worker.  He enjoyed travelling to sunny destinations, cooking, cruising in his 68' Camaro and on his Harley Davidson.  A jack of all trades, he was skilled in fixing things around the home and loved to pass that knowledge onto his girls.  He loved cranking up the tunes, opening up a beer and relaxing around the pool with family and friends. Dad, we are so grateful for all of the memories we shared together, we only wish you were here to make more. We love you - ditto! Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL  HOME . A private burial and ceremony will take place at a later date.
